Its white facade with vibrant red details is elegant and simple, featuring a bell tower that still marks the rhythm of daily life for the local neighbors.\r\n\r\nThe temple sits in front of a large square, which is one of the most beautiful and best-preserved in the city. At the center of the square is a lovely \"kiosko\" (gazebo) made of iron and wood. This gazebo is the main meeting point where families talk, children play, and music fills the air during local festivals. The view of the church, the shady trees, and the gazebo creates a perfect postcard image of the peaceful life in the Chiapas highlands.\r\n\r\nHistorically, the San Diego neighborhood is known for its friendly people and ancient traditions. Inside, the church is modest but very warm.
