Located on the northern edge of San Cristóbal, Moxviquil is a sanctuary dedicated to saving and displaying the botanical heritage of Chiapas.
What makes this place truly special is its origin: it was created as a refuge to rescue plants from areas where the jungle and forests were being destroyed by logging or urban growth. Today, it is a world-class conservation center that houses one of the most complete collections of orchids and bromeliads in Mexico, managed with a passion that can be felt in every corner of its greenhouses.
